Welcome to Fantom Records, a new UK independent record company with a difference. We have to be true fans of the artists and groups we choose to work with.

We're currently busy working with Dweezil Zappa, the artist-composer and guitar virtuoso who, in recent years, has dedicated himself to performing his father Frank Zappa's work with absolute integrity and authenticity. His 'Zappa Plays Zappa' band has built a solid world wide following and reputation for musical excellence.

Fantom Records has developed two new CD's and a DVD project, with material sourced from Dweezil's ZPZ shows from the past three years. We are also working closely with Dweezil developing a record featuring his own new material.

To buy Fantom's releases, Dweezil's new double CD album: Dweezil Zappa - F.O.H. or Dweezil's first release with Fantom - 'Live - In The Moment' click BUY CD's above.

Dweezil is very proud of both these albums and, for the new F.O.H. album told us: "I found the best sounding Front of House mixes available from my archive and I focused on some of the songs that were featured for short periods on tour. Songs like, "Brown Shoes Don't Make It", "The Little House I Used To Live", "The Mammy Anthem", "I'm A Beautiful Guy". There are some tour staples added in there to balance it out but overall the collection is intended to display the depth and variety in my Dad's music and the broad capabilities of ZPZ".

Finally, a word about our prices.....  We really strive to make our releases good value and the new F.O.H. release has over two hours of excellent content for your enjoyment. The process of putting such a release together, to an exceptionally high standard, takes a lot of studio and production time and is very expensive. Also, the mechanical license rates we have to pay the rightholders is considerable and - all in all - there's not much chance of our retiring to a beach house any time soon! Nowadays,  people 'share' music via bit-torrent sites with impunity. It seems they don't worry about the long term impact on the whole music industry.... The fact is, unless enough people buy our records we won't be able to make them.  So, to those of you that support us and still believe in paying for what you get, a sincere thank you!
