Welcome to Fantom Records, a new UK independent record company with a difference. We are true fans of the artists and groups we choose to work with.
We're currently busy working with Dweezil Zappa, the artist-composer and guitar virtuoso who, in recent years, has dedicated himself to performing his father Frank Zappa's work with absolute integrity and authenticity. His 'Zappa Plays Zappa' band has built a solid world wide following and reputation for musical excellence.
Fantom Records has previously released two double album CD's, with material sourced from Dweezil's ZPZ shows from the past three years. Our third CD - called, strangely enough, "FOH 3 - Out of Obscurity" is the newest release, out in November 2012. This is a single disc that's stuffed to its capacity with 72 minutes of great sounding FOH material, from the February 2012 U.S. tour.

What's next? Well, we are just about to receive the rough edit footage of the November 10th Roundhouse show and we hope to make a DVD available sometime early next year. The last UK and European ZPZ tour had an amazing setlist and we think our customers would enjoy a DVD showcasing the latest version of Dweezil's 'Rocking Teenage Combo'. We are also looking at making a new CD release based on the recent shows - possibly this time fully mixed from multi-track rather than from F.O.H. desk mix. As usual, it all boils down to $$$ - and how we can make a release affordable . Finally, we have access to a ZPZ set from one of the summer festivals and we would like to make that available too! In the meantime Zappy Holidays everyone and here's to a great 2013!
